Minecraft
The Server Tools tab
Every Minecraft server on FrizzlenHost has a Tools tab in the panel — the one place to change your server without touching a single file over SFTP. Log in at panel.frizzlenhost.com, open your server, and click Tools.
Everything that changes your server takes an automatic backup first, and if a change fails it reverts on its own — so trying things is safe.
What’s in the tab
- Version & Type — move between Paper, Purpur, Fabric, Forge and Vanilla, on any Minecraft version, in one click. We swap the server, match the right Java version and restart — no reinstall, no wiped worlds. See Switching server version or type.
- Modpacks — search Modrinth or CurseForge, pick a pack, and we install the server files, set the loader and Java, and restart. See Installing a modpack.
- Plugins — search Modrinth and Hangar with results filtered to your running version, install to
/pluginsin one click, and remove just as easily. See Installing plugins & mods. - Players — a live card on your console page showing who’s online, the MOTD and player avatars, refreshed automatically.
- Background — give your panel a cosmetic banner: pick a FrizzlenHost preset or upload your own image.
Good to know
- Backups come first. Every version swap, modpack or plugin install snapshots your server before it changes anything. Those snapshots live in the Backups tab alongside any you make yourself — and the tools only ever rotate their own backups, never yours.
- Failed installs undo themselves. If something goes wrong mid-install, the panel restores the pre-change backup automatically and your server comes back exactly as it was.
- No file editing required. Everything here is a button. If you’d still rather do it by hand, the SFTP and file manager are always there.
